Most of those employed in SA, just like in the rest of the continent, are not paid well, so add that with the unemployed when calculating poverty. You can see the differences in their cities with their dwellings. It switches from decent housing to huge shanty villages very quickly. There is the overpopulation problem too. Those natural resources go to only a few and their friends, just as they have done all around the continent, especially oil and gas. It was Mandela's lot that caused this over their greed.
