  1. Anytime that one reads something from the media, and it pulls at their heartstrings and emotions, then they can be assured that it is propaganda. Propaganda is designed to do that very thing, which the gov hopes will cause you to make a decision based on your emotions rather than objective truth and fact.

  2.  @elainecameron5545  A propagandist is taught to use every emotion against you. They either excite you, sadden you, anger you, scare you, or play on your tenderness. This is why they are hired in PR and advertisement agencies, (it's taught in college), as well as news organizations. Governments and politicians hire the services of PR and Ad people, if they are not hired, directly, within the government, itself. Almost every gov intel service has a propaganda department, and the military uses them as well. Goebbels was a prime example.
