Methodists, Quakers, and Unitarians. I always said that that those who belong to the Unitarians hardly believed in anything religious at all, which is why many became atheists.
The story of the Diggers is quite interesting, which led to much of the radical left wing's thought (See Seattle's CHAZ today). I believe that this is where Gracchus Babeuf gained some of his communal belief. Then, later, after Napoleon, there were the newer ideas of the commune, and communal living with the Owenites.
BTW, I don't know if you remember, but HRC stated that she might become a Methodist preacher.

@gusv2047 There's no denying that Protestantism was the start of the radical left's movement, or at least within certain sects of it, and especially in Britain, with the Diggers. The Diggers' claim, then, was that a "golden age" once existed before the Normans. Today, the radicals have changed that to state that a golden age or utopia once existed before any religion was contemplated. Of course, no utopia has ever existed, anywhere. The idea of a utopia came from biblical Eden and the Buddhists. Many believe that Eden was at Eridu, in Iraq, and that Adam (Adapa) was one of seven early kings/sages and a priest, so no utopia there.

I remember when the Hippies traveled in search of Shangri-La around Pakistan Kashmir. The people there, finally, became fed up with the Hippies, and started letting them know that they weren't that welcome. China even went so far as to create a Shangri-La
City for these pilgrims.
