If Britain agreed to accept them as a UN "third nation," why should the gov be forced to pay for their lodging and upkeep? An immigrant (refugee to the UN) should be ready to shoulder the burden of finding employment to support themselves, just like any Brit would have to do. It's the same for any western nation that isn't a "first nation" when receiving the so-called refugees. Even if they're a first nation, why should they be forced to support them? Why isn't the UN paying for it, since it's their resettlement plan?
