Angels were depicted with wings to show their relationship with the heavens. Surely, Dawkins doesn't think Christians, nor any other religious group, takes this seriously? Of course, this is also coming from a man that has mentioned that cannibalism might be a good thing. A bit creepy, he is, if you ask me.
