At one time, it was the Freemasons behind it all, it was claimed, which I've always chortled out loud at because some still fall for Leo Taxil's hoax about satanism (your Trinity and God symbol thumbnail reminded me of that). The other claim was that it is Jewish, of course, when, in fact, it's Christian. In the US, it's always about the CIA secretly running everything, when, in fact, they can't act without the NSC and President ordering it. Some even claim they work inside the US, when they don't, because it's the FBI that does, along with the new DHS, which have similar counterintel departments.
