When a teen, through the seventies, I fell for the propaganda as well, and argued with my parents, making myself look the fool. I quickly learned differently after I graduated, and went out into the real world. I remember my poor mother explaining the eugenics movement, which she and my father witnessed, and left me astounded, and ashamed. They witnessed all of it, from Sanger, and through the thirties, etc. Children will believe anything that the authorities tell them, thinking themselves more educated than their parents.

I remember about the US and Irish problem, and that goes back to the early 1900s. The UK sent Col. Claude Dansey to the US, to secretly investigate who might be funding the Irish. He stayed, and took up a position at, the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York, as his front, while working in the early SIS, somewhere after 1917. The IRA came about in 1919, if I recall.

Scientific racism started in the US, as well, under a physician studying skull sizes, and this also occurred before the professor's claim.

@bennyandersen742 There's even differences between the Caucasian population, according to what area or culture they originate from. Lactose intolerance is genetic, and has its origins with the early vegan-only farmers, who did not consume meat, it is thought. There are several other traits as well, all based upon DNA. However, we don't fight between each other over it, lie about it, nor point that out as others do.

@skylongskylong1982 I think the 1919 one, is what they consider "official," as an organization. Dansey worked as the country club's secretary, and sat in the meetings of the wealthy elite. The SIS thought that some from within the elite were funding them. After Dansey finished up there, he headed to the Congo, along with one of the men he'd been investigating. There was a black mark against Dansey, though, and that was Leon Trotsky. Trotsky was staying in NYC, where he caught a boat to meet up with Lenin in St. Petersburg. Trotsky's ship was stopped by the Canadians, and Dansey ordered them to let him go. Many think that Trotsky was working for the US or UK Govt in some form. After he fled Russia, to Mexico, he begged Congress to allow him to testify about what was taking place, and was denied. Stalin had him assassinated shortly after.

@bennyandersen742 It's like the out of Africa theory, when there is another that describes what happened, I believe, closer to the truth, called the multiregional hypothesis, or multiregional evolution (MRE). That theory states that humans still had a common ancestor, but much farther back than the so-called "Eve," which was spread around the world, but due to environmental, and cultural conditions, over time, they developed differently. It also states that humans "absorbed small, geographically variable, degrees of admixture from other regional (archaic) hominin species." Needless to say, this ticked off the OoA folks.

@king offa Think of Tammany Hall, where most of this corruption lived. That was where the original five families started, as well as the man that started the illegal drug smuggling racket, though he wasn't Irish. The hall had a very nasty history in politics, thuggery, and crime.

@bennyandersen742 It's according to who was doing the study, and for what reason. There were about three to four early physicians, and anthropologists, that used it for that reason. That is what the Nazis later latched onto.

@bennyandersen742 Funnily enough, one of those physicians had the name of Josiah C. Nott during the US Civil War era. It makes one wonder where JK Rowling obtained her research for the HP books about the Death Eaters with that surname. She also gave a hint about the peafowl around Malfoy Manor. Down in the Caribbean, and even in the southern US, some of the plantation owners had peacocks running around their antebellum homes, and still do. One would have had to know history to catch this.

@jacktravers5049 During that same time, NYC was infested with communists, especially at Tammany Hall, and the Rand School for Social Science, where Trotsky was lecturing just before he left to join Lenin in 1917. That was what Dansey was investigating. After Trotsky left NYC via ship, he was detained by the Canadians en route, but someone from Moscow or St. Petersburg complained, and Dansey gave the order to let him go.
