  1. The obsession with skin color has its roots in federalism, and in early socialism. In the US, the Federalists, who later became the GOP, used the race and slavery cards at every turn to hide the real reasons behind their invasion of the south. Many of those same Federalists were also fans of early socialism, which was heaped upon them from both the church, and by writers such as Marx in the New York Tribune. The owner of that paper, Horace Greeley, was an early socialist who had hired Marx as his sole British correspondent, and he was a leader from within the new GOP and the Union League in NYC. A lot of this came to the UK via the elite intermarriages with wealthy US women, and the Astor family. Those two "cards" have been used by both governments ever since, and each year it has progressively become worse, especially after the creation of the UN. It is their go-to excuse to hide something more nefarious.
