  1. In fact, all of this is an attack on being English, or speaking the English language. Anything tied to it is being attacked, especially the language, because it does not have many gendered words. According to the Collins Dictionary about variable nouns: "5. VARIABLE NOUN "In grammar, the gender of a noun, pronoun, or adjective is whether it is masculine, feminine, or neuter. A word's gender can affect its form and behavior. In English, only personal pronouns such as `she,' reflexive pronouns such as `itself,' and possessive determiners such as `his' have gender." It's why we hear about colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism at every breath from certain people. It's also why three nations seem to be within their crosshairs, Britain, the US, and Israel.
