When I see an academic use the term "Far-right" in any text or speech, especially in Britain or the US, I immediately know that they're peddling bilgewater. It would be amusing to corner one of them and to ask them what do they mean by far-right? If they stuttered out "Nazi," then I would lose every drop of respect for them. What's considered the right wing in one nation does not equate the right of another. In Germany's case, pre-1945, their politics were all from the left wing, just differing flavors of the same thing. There were the Social Democrats, the NSDAP, and the Communists. All of it came from the same source. The Fuhrer did consider himself a Marxist at one time, and all of it was tied to the labor movement.

@stephan6372 Considering those that use the term, anything that goes against the progressive agenda is to be labeled as "far-right," and they do their level best to tie it to the NSDAP in some form or another. The reason is, the NSDAP went after the communists in Germany with a passion, and they were their number one enemy. The Hegalian Dialectic, which they cleave to, means that they can only see two sides, good and evil, and they think of themselves as the good, with everyone else having a different opinion as evil.
