  1. Oh, the political left would love to have the blasphemy laws and prosecutions for heresy back, if society would accept them. They're close to obtaining them now. Did you find it odd that it was Iraq that made the threat? I didn't, as I know what the Baath Party is, and what political movement it's tied to. Just because the party was outlawed in Iraq, doesn't mean its members no longer exist. They would love to see the old Soviet Union revived, would love to have another Saddam, and I'm sure they're tight with China.
