This is something that I've studied quite a bit, and it leads back to how their community, starting in Harlem, was targeted by the mob with hard drugs, which led to the gang explosion, and it was over two men in particular, Frank Matthews and Frank Lucas. The James Bond Film: Live and Let Die, with Mr. Big, and Roger Moore as Bond, (his first appearance as Bond), was said to be based off this. You'll find that those two men have a very interesting history, and here, you'll find the Asian, Cuban, and South American/Venezuela connection.
