  1. One must ask themselves why western governments fear offending foreigners. There is really only one answer, and most western governments will tell you that it's about protecting the "national interest." Now, one must ask themselves what the national interest really is. One will find that the economy is the major interest and ambition of most nations, and nations will sell their souls for more silver and gold. They will open the gates of Troy, and willingly and knowingly allow the horse to enter.

  2. @Bighill 'obbit Sadly, it always is, as well as the politicos that line their pockets. Today, the largest scam is politicos taking donations (bribes) into foundations, institutes, and charities that they form. The foundation then purchases expensive homes, where the founder "stays" for free. The same foundations seem to also have an appreciation for very expensive automobiles, etc, which the founder drives about. That, or the politico was promised a huge payout after they leave office. A good case in point was Obama. He wasn't wealthy until after he left the White House. Afterwards, he was photographed on beaches, at private resorts, and living the high life much to the dismay of those that voted for him. The media claimed that he made that first $40 million from selling a book. Nobody in the states believes it.   3.  @gerrychan5729  How much money do you believe the two pocketed over that endeavor, especially after they left office, from the oil and gas companies? That conflict has always been about keeping out Russian influence and control, especially with the Baath Party that was in Iraq, and is still in Syria. It was always about the supply of oil and gas to Europe. Four nations that are or were in bed together, are China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. However, Russia might be having a falling out, after China started claiming the land around Vladivostok, and north of it up to Kazakevichevo, and maybe, more.
