This fake history is becoming worse and worse. It's like the myths that they have built up around the American Civil War and Lincoln, where they claim that it was all about slavery.
In fact, the war was over two lines of political thought that had been there since the Declaration of Independence was penned, which was between Jeffersonian Republicanism and Hamiltonian Federalism. Federalism, (which had died as a party), centralization, taxation, and government overreach making a comeback under the Whigs, and then the new GOP under Lincoln, were what triggered the entire thing. When one reads Lincoln, they find that it was never about slavery when the secession and war started. Lincoln had no intention of freeing anyone. In reality, he invaded sovereign states that had once been in a compact with the northern ones.

@jumblestiltskin1365 The people behind this, are the very ones that were against Brexit, and support the EU. The World Federalist Movement is behind this, and they have been since the end of WWII.
Essentially, you're suffering through a new reconstruction era, similar to, and from the same playbook as used by the US Govt at the end of the Civil War. Both North America and Europe are suffering this at the moment.
The north targeted the institutions of both religion, and academia in the south, as both were different from the north, where education had begun dumbing itself down. In other words, it's brainwashing.
In the south, at SCU (The Citadel), which was a college then, they had the highest requirements for acceptance of any other college in America. One had to know Latin, and have read an entire bookshelf full of Greek classics while in High School to gain admittance. It was only half as strict at Harvard, and the other northern schools by then.
Many, from these same southern colleges in the south, had went on to attend Oxford, etc, and they once held the majority in Congress before the war.
When the army arrived, they booted out most of the professors and dean at SCU, replacing them with those from the north, and then, they burned the homes of some of those that had once taught Greek literature.
In the churches, they brought in what became known as Christian socialism. Remember, Marx had been writing to Lincoln at the time, and Greeley was publishing his screeds in NYC. Columbia U was at the center of it.
None of this stuck after they left, but things eventually did change after WWII, especially during the fifties and sixties, which is when this new reconstruction began.
