The term, social construct, could be said to exist with any word, but it does not negate the fact that there are differences between ethnicities and cultures. All words were "constructed" by man to explain things and to communicate. Even if the word, race, was unknown to the Romans, I'm sure that they noticed the differences between the ethnicities where they traveled.

Yet they won't debate, and use violence to stop it. Why? They knew what they're stating is balderdash. If all words are "social constructs," then the term, social construct, is also a social construct and means nothing. However, they are in denial of the five senses and reality. If I place down two apples, and add two more beside them, then every culture has agreed that there are four apples. However, these imbeciles claim that since the word, four, is a social construct, then there could be five apples there.

But an attorney or barrister makes their living by trying to reconstruct or construe words to mean other than they do within the written law. Sadly, here, in the US, since John Marshall was made the Chief Justice under Adams, they have attacked the Constitution and claimed it means other than it says, even disregarding what Madison and Jefferson said they meant. That began the slow degradation of the new nation. One of the most famous cases was about polygamy with the Mormons, where they ruled that even though religion was protected, there were limits. The same has been said of free speech.
