  1. There is a new scramble for Africa coming, and they're priming the pump for it. It has already been rumored here, in the US. Think of mining rare earth metals, etc, for all those electric cars.

  3. @Martin They have South and Central America in their crosshairs, too. Also, I believe that the entire Antarctica exploration is over something similar. They've spent too much money on it.
