Who brought the ziggurats into China, which they've tried to hide, and where did the idea of ziggurats and pyramids originate? Mound builders on the Eurasian Steppe. That, and the peaks of some mountains were seen as holy places (the home of Prometheus at Mount Caucasus as well as the Cyclopes). It is known that the tale of the Cyclopes originated from the descendants of the Yamnaya as well. The ziggurats and pyramids were manmade mountains and temples for the god or goddess that the city-state worshiped.

@よしみ-x5j Actually, the Yamnaya buried their tribal leaders in mounds, and performed sacrifices on top of them. They saw their leaders as demigods, just as did those where it spread, in Surmer, Egypt, and through the world. It is well known that they had temples built at the top of many ziggurats, and that their king would be buried within. You might want to crack open a book about it.
