It is impossible for an invisible entity, the state, which doesn't really exist, to make money by itself, but it is granted an individual corporate life by the same state, which can enter contracts, loan and borrow money, sue, and be sued, hire employees, and own assets. All incoming money is from collected taxes and tariffs, so, nothing is ever free for the taxed public governed by it, as the government uses those taxes to pay off their debt. In reality, the government is a protection racket, and it can only stand if it is beneficial somehow to the public and they allow it. The worst lie circulating today from the western governments is that the trillions they're spending are somehow free. No, it's from those they tax, and it's not free for the public. That, and they have allegedly been involved in legalized counterfeiting since paper currency became unpegged from gold, according to the late Murray Rothbard, a heterodox economist of the Austrian School, economic historian, and political theorist.
