@RevGary Oh, so the crusades never occurred, is that what you're claiming? What about the burning of "witches," or the inquisition? Get over yourself, "reverend."

Mohammed Amin al-Husseini is the cause of much of the hatred toward Islam today, and without knowing his history, nor that of his cousins, one will not understand what occurred post-WWII to today.

@propheticrevelation3915 The differing religions have been fighting between themselves from the beginning, and all have been guilty of doing terrible things in the past. Atheism is no better. Zealotry, one could say, is at the root of all of it, as even atheists have anti-religious zealots as well.

@propheticrevelation3915 "The Zealots were a political movement in 1st-century Second Temple Judaism which sought to incite the people of Judea Province to rebel against the Roman Empire and expel it from the Holy Land by force of arms, most notably during the First Jewish–Roman War (66–70). Zealotry was the term used by Josephus for a "fourth sect" or "fourth Jewish philosophy" during this period." Definition of zealot: 1: A person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious, political, or other ideals. 2: A member of an ancient Jewish sect that aimed at a world Jewish theocracy and resisted the Romans until AD 70. Jesus was that, was he? I can spot an apologist a mile off.
