Did not this ideology originate from what became known as the "deconstructionists" post-Enlightenment, (having actually started with the cosmopolitans, anarchists, radicals, etc), questioning what truth actually is, with a pinch of eastern theology thrown into the cauldron? Wasn't it from the same people that advocated and advanced the decadent movement, with their "general skepticism," and wasn't it really about "tearing it all down," and rebuilding anew, in their vision of a new golden age or utopia? Wasn't that really led by a group of very wealthy men in the garment and textile industries, as well as their uni friends in literature, and the arts?
In reality, those that control the levers of power, and fan these flames, see this as a tool of opening up the world to the extremely wealthy via "internationalism," "transnationalism," and "free trade." Isn't it why we always see the words "world citizen," "economy," and "global warming," tied to these group's manifestos? We live in very dangerous times, my friend.
