  1. Through WWII and after, a lot of history has been tinkered with. As an example, I wonder if anyone has ever studied the origins of Neoconservatism (new conservatism)? At the origin, you'll find Trotsky and his followers. That's what infiltrated the GOP and began to corrupt it in the US, and I'll almost bet it did with the Tories in the UK as well.
