  1. To understand what is driving this, read the entire Wikipedia article about the UN. Pay special attention to the year 2000 and their millennium goals, as well as the critiques of the organization, and especially within the US Congress. The UK has it much worse within both parties than does the US at the moment, because a political purge occurred in the US starting in 2016 within the GOP. Is it bad to wish that the Cold War never ended, because this had kept a supranational organization from wanting to take control of the entire world?
