Most pharmacies, in the US, now, waste about ten minutes of your time, on the phone, by asking you if you've had the jab, or do you want one, which they peddle. You'll probably hear the C-word twenty or so times while simply trying to talk to the pharmacist after listening to a long menu of "dial so-and-so for..."
The clinic has long waiting times on the phone, but it asks you to leave your number, and they'll return a call. They generally do within ten minutes, which is faster than waiting on hold.
When I reach an Indian call center, the first thing I do is to loudly curse.
