@MRCAGR1 Originally, the word “race” was used to describe people speaking a different language in a certain area, and thus, we have differing ethnic groups. One could easily use the term, ethnic group, in place of it. It is, as you both point out, that these differing ethnic groups have differing genetic traits, which are at the root of differing diseases and systemic abnormalities due to their ethnicity. It's detrimental to the world population's health for academics to deny these differences.
