I wonder if many know the root of the English word, Communism? It was developed from a similar French word, communisme, but it was also for a new British church; a Church of Communism. John Goodwyn Barmby was the man who invented the English word. Here, you find Robert Owen and the Unitarians at the roots of it. What is different in what they're pushing today, is its likeness to fascism, where the state only controls 50% of the corporations. That is what they do in China, a form of Maoism, a public-private partnership.

@AngelBaby-cp6kf I never quite understood that, myself. Barmby translated a French word first used by Gracchus Babeuf in France, who is given as the father of communism. He lost his head, as even Robespierre thought he went too far. Babeuf's ideas came from the communes, where monks lived communally and owned nothing, the church did. As Simon mentioned, the Jewish community picked up these ideas later on, and formed the Kibbutzim in Mandate Palestine. When this political ideology is called a religion, they're not far off the mark. .
