All of it over WWII, and the academics asking why it happened (because they think they know best). They looked at Germany, Japan, and Italy about how they wanted to expand their empires. Japan had already stated that they wanted to expand like the West at the end of WWI, and when you look at it, it's always over economics (money) and population. It was very similar in Germany, where they wanted their slice of the pie, and in Italy as well, after they went into Northern Africa.
Worse, though, was the West pushing the industrial revolution upon states like Russia and in Asia, and it's all about Western profits. That is what Progressivism and Globalism are really about. Both are like a cancer on the world at large.
