  2.  BrickyMindset45  Resources? LOL! The US works with the Dominican Republic for that. Haiti has nothing. The reason we Yanks are "there," is that their government, under Papa Doc and Baby Doc, was anti-communist, and helped us watch Cuba. We gave them more money than what could have been reaped from that poor place.

  3.  BrickyMindset45  Well, evidently, you don't know. The most investment the US had, there, was tourism over the last fifty years. The Haitians wasted what resources they had, and sold them off to line the pockets of a few at the top on that island. I could bring up their timber, if you'd like. BTW, where did all that cash go, which was given to them, to help their nation after the last disaster? What was actually built, and who in Haiti profited?

  4.  @KooroshBabaee  The cash went into a few pockets at the top, on that island. It was wasted, which is why the US has decided to almost cut them off. It's why nothing has been rebuilt, yet, and it's why the gangs took over.

  5. Papa Doc and Baby Doc were two doozies; one a physician and one a lawyer. However, look at what else they believed in and allowed to take place. We put up with them because of their anti-communist stance at the time.
