  1. She skillfully stepped around Biden's statement about there being no background checks at gun shows. That, or she didn't understand the question herself. For any firearm that is registered, the purchaser has a background check through NICS. It is part of the BATFE registration process. Does Biden not know this? Of course, many on the left are very ignorant about firearms, and the law. What the left would love to do, is to stop private sales of used firearms between individuals. This is what they are really reaching for.
