Crane cautions, however, that it’s hard to know what the President actually knows. “His [Trump's] staff has told us that they refuse to give the President our messages and they refuse to set up a meeting with the President. I’m telling our guys to give the President the benefit of the doubt until we find out if the President is even aware of what’s happening. I think he’s a man of his word. I think he’s going to work with us.”
