  2. Look at who has always controlled the unions, starting with the railroads, the communist movement. It started in California and New York during Grant's presidency. They had Horace Greeley running for president, the poster child of his friend, Karl Marx. The reason Horace ran, is because the other party leader was a communist from Germany. Who were these two closely knit political parties, that hated the reconstruction, besides the Democrats? The Liberal Republican Party (NY) of Greeley, and the Socialist Labor Party (CA), which led to the Communist Party USA in 1919.
