  1. Wait a mo', we have an anesthesiologist, who claims that she walks beside of and speaks to patients? LOL! You only ever see one while in the OR, etc, while they're putting you to sleep. That, or there are a few whom are involved in hospital pain clinics. They do not see many patients, let alone speak to them. Also, there's a huge difference between an anesthesiologist and one in general practice.

  2. hunk5525; I would say that an anesthesiologist is one of the less seen physicians by a patient, along with a radiologist, or someone over virology and bacteriology (a microbiologist) in the hospital lab. There's just some specialties that have hardly any interaction with a patient. Because of this, they have no idea about dealing with patients, or what those in general practice thinks.
