@StopListenThink Who always turns up to cart away what they want to keep hidden, and told Acosta that JE was above his pay grade? Could it be that JE was busted at Bear Stearns, and offered a deal: "If you run this racket for us, well..." They did a similar one with Bulger, who ended up DOA in "protective custody" at the end, after a quick prison swap. You really can't make this stuff up.
