Those that promote state ownership or control, whether partial or whole, of a nation's trade and industry, instead of private ownership, and this includes the private ownership of property, are promoting utopianism, socialism, and what it later begat, fascism. By AOC's own words, this is what she must believe in.
Of course, the utopianists that became the socialists have been crying about the ownership of property since the manors fenced off or enclosed the commons in England from Yorkshire to Lincolnshire, even though they were enclosed elsewhere since the 12th century.
What did the tenant farmers do? Why, they ignorantly and violently rebelled, of course, just like they always do. What their vaunted "golden age" and "utopia" was, which they want to take us all back to, is feudalism, as it seems that they can't stand not being renters that are lorded over, instead of owning property, working it, and profiting from it themselves. It must be over the jealousy of those that are not property owners, who want everyone to be just like them.
