It's the progressive New Left and New Right that we know of as neoliberals and neocons, and both's founding lie with the "New York Intellectuals" that were anti-Stalinist Trotsky followers (Trotskyites). Trotsky was still a communist, but was against Stalin, and what they called Soviet socialism. His people in New York became known as the "New York Intellectuals," and were members of the Young People's Socialist League. They were affiliated with the Frankfurt School professors in a handful of colleges in universities during the thirties, and they were the sister group to the Bloomsbury Group in the UK. They took over the GOP in 1952, as Nixon was one of them, as well as GHW Bush, Nixon's underling, and Dubbya. Clinton and Gore were as well. It's the Trotskyites that run Hollywood, and they love blackmail and perversion.
