I'd say that Mike is correct. JE was cut a deal, and told to work with GM, who was really directing this. Was Andy a client, or one of the people directing it? This story parallels an older one, which was investigated, called “Operation Bowtie,” or the "Bowtie Investigation” by the FBI in the sixties. Bowtie was the pseudonym for the Sec. of War in the UK. Many prominent people in the US and UK were caught up in it.

@robhill4352 The FBI stepped in, and told Acosta that JE was above his pay grade. That's how he obtained his sweetheart deal, a second time. The first was over Bear Stearns, and that was how they obtained him as an “asset.” The key to it all lies with whom the Maxwell family are, and what Robert did for the UK Gov. That goes back to WWII, and they have been Gov insiders ever since.

@Sandwichcasket998 Many very prominent people involved, and the investigation was over JFK and RFK's hanky-panky with an MI5 asset, Mariella Novotny. It was all a part of the Ward and Keeler scandal.
