It's been the globalist Atlanticists and NATO behind this trouble since the end of WWII, and especially after the end of the Warsaw Pact. NATO started this entire debacle by declaring that Ukraine would become a member state, placing them directly on Russia's border. Russia is not having it. A similar thing happened with Georgia as well. The Atlanticists have also been pushing for a "union" of North America and Europe, thereby "federalizing" it, since the Atlantic Charter was signed by the US and UK. There have been several articles written about this, and several university lectures have been given about Ukraine as well.
