A Democrat elector can't do squat about Trump, only a Republican elector can. She is another ignorant leftist, who thinks that the law concerning pledging to vote as the state says, does not have any influence on the electors, even though the Supreme Court has upheld state law on electors. The US, since the Civil War, has been assigning the electors to carry the states vote, based on the popular vote, over the multi-party system. The electors swear an oath to vote for the candidate that the state elected. Her not voting for Hillary, which she mentioned, will not help her keep Trump out of office, but it will take away from Hillary's number. That is the most simple-minded statement that I have ever heard. She is a Democrat elector from a Democrat won state, not a Republican, and her vote would not be counted toward Trump anyhow. Her vote has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. Her line about others talking to Republican electors is all BS. Only one has made such a claim, and he may be replaced, if he tries to do what he claims, and fined for doing it.
One would think that there are not this many ignorant people in the US, but it seems that they are.

You're welcome. I think that they are purposely trying to make it seem confusing, to make people worry more than they should. The left is trying to confuse people, especially the rights electors, into believing things that aren't so. The woman mentioned 28 states having laws, but I counted 30, and Texas was not named, even though they do have a law on it. Those elector laws, for a faithless elector, range from replacing them and a fine, to replacing them with a class 4 felony and a fine. It according to which state law it is. I believe it was either 3 or 4 states who just sued, trying to skirt those laws, and they were all thrown out. In one suit, Trump's attorney showed the court how what they intended was likened to Sharia law. Trump won.

All the states that Trump won the popular vote in, select the electors by both the legislature and party who won. In other words, ever state that Trump won by vote, will send Republican electors. Every state that the Democrats won, which was less, will send Democrat electors. Each set of state electors will vote at their state capital, for the candidate that won their state. The only thing that could hurt Trump, would be a Republican elector who would try to vote for another candidate, or refuse to cast a vote. Most of the states have laws to replace those. Only one Republican elector has made such a claim, and that is Suprun. Trump would not have received any electors from any Democrat won state. Suprun may be replaced, and Trump receive all 306 electoral votes. Every suit that was brought about this, against Trump, (and Colorado was one of the states), lost in court.
