Henry does not seem to grasp the law. Federal law trumps state law. Obama, himself, took that before the supreme court, and the court agreed. Thus, a city can pass all the rinky-dink ordinances it wants, but they are meaningless, when it comes to federal immigration law. Congress passes laws which govern all fifty states, and the states have to abide by them. If they do not, then they run afoul of federal law. Under Obama, the federal agencies were understaffed, and the agency heads were directed not to apprehend illegal aliens. Now, by executive order, Trump is telling the DHS to hire the needed employees, and is directing them to enforce federal law. The mayors can complain all they want, but when Immigration and DHS shows up, they will cooperate or else.
If Henry would let the attorney talk, he might understand this. No wonder the attorney is grinning at the moron, because he does not understand the facts of the law in the US.

SKYwalker 777; Hardly anybody tries to understand the law. Many on the left, I highly doubt, have read the entire Constitution or the Bill of Rights, and most think it is some sort of outdated document that they don't have to adhere to. Sadly, such is being taught in some ultra-liberal universities. However, when someone threatens a leftist's freedom of speech, they're quick to cite the law, even though their own Democrat Party opposes it. I highly doubt that they understand how laws are made, how the government works, nor how the courts work. It seems that the left only has use for the law, when it suits them.
