I don't care about Joe's brand of democracy (thuggery), because the US is not a democracy, it's a federal republic that has a democratic vote for the Congress and Senate members. At one time, the Senate didn't have that, where the state legislatures could appoint and recall senators at will. There was also no universal male suffrage when this nation was founded, where every man could vote. That didn't come about until Andrew Jackson. His idea of democracy is that of Russia, China, and North Korea.
