Why would the US, an American nation that is separated from the rest of the world by two oceans, wish to involve itself with a Eurasian matter, which the Europeans and Asians should settle themselves? Why does the US have to put its nose into matters not concerning them? Here's some advice. The US is no longer the world hegemony it was at the end of WWII, its protection racket (NATO) is falling apart, and it's no longer Western Europe's thug to be called upon when things go off kilter. It's time to wean Europe off the US teat.
