  1. It is according to the violence, and what the statements of the protesters are. What I have heard shouted from the protesters is against the law, as they are words which are pro insurrection and sedition. Both of those are high crimes. Insurrection: "a violent uprising against an authority or government." Sedition: "conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch." These are high crimes and are serious felonies. 18 U.S. Code Chapter 115 § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection; § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy; § 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government. Those who pay for or bus in protesters may even be guilty of treason.
