  1. Along the Ohio River valley, this has been a rather wet and cool summer. Also, if one looks at the US shoreline using Google Earth, and the satellite views going back to the early seventies, the sea has not noticeably risen anywhere. As a matter of fact, the Mississippi Delta landmass has grown in leaps and bounds.

  2. I'm 57, and the weather was no different in my younger days, than it is now. Kids, today, are mollycoddled to an extreme extent, where they sit before a PC, or are on an iPhone, which is why they are obese. They don't lift a finger to do anything but be a couch potato. The majority are a bunch of weakling sissies.

  4. If the GOP is not prepared to put their vaunted scruples aside, like the left has, then they stand no chance in hell of ending this deceit. It's time to drop the "moral majority" attitude, if they actually want to reverse this, and stop it in its tracks. Something tells me that many on the right are in bed with the left, and want to bring about a new green industrial revolution. In the end, it's all about profits.
