  2. It's not just about what you eat, but about a sedentary lifestyle. Being a couch potato or sitting in a chair all day at a desk will cause strokes. Nobody exercises, stands, or walks anymore. It has been known by physicians for a long time, that long flights can cause blood clots which can lead to strokes, etc, over sitting for extended periods. It is the difference between being lazy or active, and we have become a sedentary people, not actively working anymore. Becoming obese and being sedentary are two strikes against you.
