@SweatyFatGuy The first combustion engines were designed to burn "Ethyl" going back to 1826. It was the Rockefeller family that interfered, and purposely put alcohol fuel of business.
"Ethanol’s first use was to power an engine in 1826, and in 1876, Nicolaus Otto, the inventor of the modern four-cycle internal combustion engine, used ethanol to power an early engine. Ethanol also was used as a lighting fuel in the 1850s, but its use curtailed when it was taxed as liquor to help pay for the Civil War. Ethanol use as a fuel continued after the tax was repealed, and fueled Henry Ford’s Model T in 1908. The first ethanol blended with gasoline for use as an octane booster occurred in the 1920s and 1930s, and was in high demand during World War II because of fuel shortages."
Can you imagine the agricultural profits that could be made, today, by growing corn, sugar cane, and some of the other large grasses the way Brazil does? It would be easy to denature to sell as fuel, and it would put many to work. Cane is much easier to convert than corn.

@SweatyFatGuy Bush actually signed a bill into law that states that we're supposed to be using more renewable fuel, which is ethanol. However, look what they're trying to do. They want to Europeanize the US, and are now talking about replacing stop lights with roundabouts. They want to take away automobiles, and force everyone to take public conveyance, which will be electric trains, just like in Europe.
GM was the first to announce switching over to electric cars. No wonder, as it was GM in Business with the Rockefellers under the Ethyl label (Esso). They held the patent on the lead additive.
Right now, we could buy 25 Lb. bags of sucrose and some yeast, and actually make our own fuel on the range, quickly, in the kitchen, and they also make electric five gallon stills. It's easy to go bigger, as I've seen some hot water tank conversions.

It's been rising for fifteen thousand years, with a sharp incline between the start of the melting of the northern ice cap, to about five thousand years ago, where it started to level out, but still with a slight increase of sea level. During that same time frame, there have been warming and cooling cycles (+/- 2 Deg C from baseline), with each progressively becoming shorter, and it's based upon a myriad of different things.
Today, they claim that CO2 is leading instead of lagging, and that it is the sole cause, but in reality, they don't know. Every prediction, which started under the Nixon administration, when they had the first Earth Summit, has been wrong.
