  1. Israel has been surrounded by dictatorial socialist states, pretty much, since it's founding. Radical Jihadist Islam started shortly after, and was founded by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who fled to Germany during WWII, and crawled into bed with Hitler. After WWII, the USSR took the Nazis place. The Socialist Ba'ath Party, of Iraq, helped lead the coup against Syria's king, and that party is still in power, in Syria, today, though the party is now outlawed in Iraq. Palestine is socialist, and backed by Russia, as are Iran, Lebanon, and Jordan. Egypt is just as bad, and it was the birthplace of Yasser Arafat, who was trained by the KGB, and was the leader of the PLO. Saudi Arabia is also socialist, though they still have a king, but are backed by the US, which is why they are against Iran, and the other Russian backed countries. The fighting is over far-left socialism, backed by Russia, who are against Israel, the only democracy in the Middle-East, who are backed by the US.
