Yet crony capitalism, (an economic system characterized by close, mutually advantageous relationships between business leaders and government officials), is closer to Marx's socialism, than what the ideology of capitalism actually is. Under socialism/communism, the government owns all industry and land. Thus, the rich, running the government, control industry, what they make, and who they employ. As Marx admitted, he wanted feudalism back, with he and Engels at the helm, of course. The lie, that the bourgeois (middle-class), are crony capitalists, is one of the biggest lies ever told by the left.

The left, who loves the socialism of Marx, and claims that there's always a "class struggle," will not be able to understand capitalism. That is, unless, the lie of socialism or communism is exposed.
First, Marx claimed that there was always a class struggle, by stating "freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf, guildmaster and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another."
The problem was, that those Lords had the ability to build large projects, castles, villages, etc, who kept the citizens employed and working for many years. By Marx stating "guildmaster and journeyman," he thinks that the unskilled should receive the same pay, though lacking the skill and the merit. This is because Marx was only a writer, and nobody wanted to pay him for his drivel. His other source of income, was bumming off Engels. He had actually married, but moved to London, and lived in squalor, having more children than he could afford. He received an inheritance from his father, which he blew 1/3 of, on his rebellion.
Marx, then goes on to state "the bourgeoisie, wherever it has got the upper hand, has put an end to all feudal, patriarchal, idyllic relations. It has pitilessly torn asunder the motley feudal ties that bound man to his 'natural superiors,' and has left remaining no other nexus between man and man than naked self-interest, callous 'cash payment."
Here, Marx seems to contradict himself, by stating that the bourgeoisie (middle-class), who were the landed employers, put an end to feudalism, which Marx wants back, so that we become subjected to our "natural superiors," which he saw himself as one of. That is feudalism that he wanted back, and that is what socialism is. You can own no property, and the government nationalizes industry (steals it away from its owners). Thus, you are dependent on the government, for everything. You can't advance, unless you are a part of the ruling authority's clique. The ruling authority become the rich.
Also, Marx hates "cash." There's a reason for this, which you'll find it in his paper called: On The Jewish Question. In this paper, Marx calls both Christian and Jew, snakes, the same thing, and makes the bogus claim that they are responsible for money. Marx directly blames the Jews for capitalism, because he was a lazy, self-hating, atheist, ethnic Jew, who's father baptized as a Christian. In this paper, Marx claims that for the Jews and Christians to succeed, they must become atheists. Marx was one of the worst anti-Semites, and his hatred has carried on to this very day. It is why those such as Marcuse and Adorno, later on, switched from criticizing the economy, to criticizing our western culture. It was their plan B to destroy capitalism.
Socialists are regressive, wanting to take us back to the time of the early 1600s, and before.
