  1. The "great experiment" of United States, was to bring about a nation, governed by the natural law of John Locke, as it was then, and the ancient moral law. This supreme law of the land was codified in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It wasn't long after Washington left office, that others started to shamefully chip away at those very laws, by trying to change the meaning of what they stated.
