Everyone within the GOP should really take the time to study the origins of Neoconservatism and the New York Intellectuals, just as they should the New Left, as both have roots in the same place; the Progressives. Read about the Progressive Party, especially during 1948, and the so-called Republican that run for office, Henry Wallace. That's the same man that was the VP during FDR, so why would they select a Republican? Why did the Democrats suddenly pull him from FDR's ticket at the convention, and replace him with Truman? That, my friends, are the facts, and it's what they've kept hidden for many years. This is what 45 tried to remove from the GOP.
