  1. Bohemia has much to do with it, as that is where the movement that began Socialism was born under Jan Hus and the radical Hussites during the 1450s. That spread to Poland, and it became Socinianism (Socialism). This led to Communism and the French Revolution. Communism did not start with Marx and Engels, it started in France with Gracchus Babeuf, the first "communist."
