The same kind of deceit has been going on in the US since the Civil War, my friend, when the individual states finally lost their states' rights. If any state had a problem, then it was their fault, but the Federal Govt could never do anything wrong. The south was treated even worse by the New England Federalists in the north. Does it surprise you, that the EU was created to be a copy of the US Federal Govt? The entering European states, and their people, were lied to, just like the thirteen states and their people were when they joined the Federal Govt at its founding.
